After your yearly physical and blood work is complete, there's the dreaded follow-up doctor appointment to get your results.  You cringe and sink lower and lower in your chair as the doctor rattles off the long list of deficiencies.   Low of vitamin D, need more B12, you're pre-diabetic, your liver is looking a little suspect, you're overweight, your blood pressure is too high, your good cholesterol is too low, your bad cholesterol is too high and on and on and on.

At some point, you just block it all out, right?

What if this yearly visit was something to look forward to?  This year, your results are completely different than the last.  Picture your doctor sitting across from you staring at the results in disbelief.  She is joyfully stumbling over her words of amazed disbelief as she rattles down the list of improved health results.  The doctor is seeing stats that are so uncommon in today's society.  You, sitting back relaxed with a smile of knowing and satisfaction.  You got this, you took control of your health, you decided to not let disease win.  This is your reward.  As happy and proud as you are in this moment, you can't help but be a little sad knowing that this is the exception.  Being healthy is the exception to the norm.

This was my reality.

is what motivated me to create a space where others can learn and thrive in wellness.   A place where they can break free from a distorted view of what is and isn't healthy.  A new trend is upon us...healthy is the new sexy.  People are becoming more interested in being healthy than fitting into a size 6.  

My good health was achieved simply be incorporating more whole plant-based foods in my daily diet, reducing processed food, and focusing on progress, not perfection.  I am the exception and you can be too.  Just like everyone else, I'm a work in progress.  My goal is to achieve a normal weight to go along with my glowing internal health and that is where I am on my health journey.  I, and the entire VEGOLOGIE community, will meet you where you are on your personal journey.  We are here to motivate, encourage and teach you how to be the best version of yourself.  

Be the exception.  YOU ARE WORTH IT!

When it comes to healthy eating, the thing I hear most from people is that they don't know how to cook vegetables,  so they avoid them.  I get it.  I was there.  I used to be a vegetarian that didn't like cooked vegetables.  Needless to say, I learned a thing or two along my health journey.  Healthy eating doesn't have to be boring and bland.    
If you want to learn plant-based nutrition and cooking, you've landed at the right place.  Here, you will gain the confidence to say, "Hey Veggies, I'm not afraid of you anymore!  Yeah, Kale...I'm talking to YOU!".  Don't worry, it's perfectly normal to trash talk your veggies while learning the art of plant-based cooking.  
 



The Official Bio  
Jennie Morris is a certified Integrated Health Coach.  She received her training and certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.  She is also a graduate of the Professional Plant-based Cooking certification program at Rouxbe Cooking School. This course offered in-depth instruction in plant-based culinary arts.

In addition, she has over 20 years of personal experience and knowledge of plant-based cooking and nutrition.  A life long learner, she is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experiences with others to help them on their health journey.
